About Vinith Kumar

I'm a freelance WordPress, WooCommerce and Shopify developer based in Al Karama, Dubai. I build e-commerce stores for UAE brands, and I rebuild the ones that have become too slow to sell.

How I got here

I did an MCA at Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology between 2018 and 2020, then spent my early career building client websites in India, retail, food, education, healthcare. That period taught me the thing most tutorials skip: a site that looks good in a mockup and a site that holds up under real traffic with a real product catalogue are two different pieces of engineering.

At Ezio Solutions I was given the Rising Star Award for delivery performance. Since moving to Dubai I've worked almost entirely with UAE brands, which brought a second education, regional payment gateways, VAT, AED pricing, and bilingual stores that have to render correctly right-to-left as well as left-to-right.

What I actually do

Build

Custom WordPress and WooCommerce stores, and Shopify storefronts on custom Liquid themes. For UAE clients that means the regional plumbing done properly: Tap, Telr, Network International, Stripe and PayPal; Tabby and Tamara for buy-now-pay-later; AED currency and VAT configured correctly; Arabic/English multilingual with real RTL support rather than a plugin bolted on at the end.

Fix

This is the work I'm best at and the work I most want. Sites get slow for predictable reasons, page builders generating twenty stylesheets, uncompressed product photography, a database nobody has pruned in three years, no caching layer, no CDN. I take Lighthouse scores in the 40s and rebuild them into the 90s, and I'll show you the before and after numbers rather than describe them.

Own

I handle the whole delivery: architecture, build, technical SEO and schema, DNS, SSL, migrations and hosting. You talk to the person writing the code. There is no account manager in the middle translating what you said into a ticket.

How I work

• Fixed scope up front. You get a written proposal after the discovery call, not a surprise at invoice time.
• Weekly demo links. You watch the build happen instead of waiting for a reveal.
• Direct communication. WhatsApp, same time zone, usually a reply within a few hours.
• Full handover. You get every credential. The site is yours, not hostage to me.

Where I work

I'm based in Al Karama and work across Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Al Ain and Ras Al Khaimah, in person where it helps, remote where it doesn't. I also take remote work internationally.
